SHENANIGANS
Local Bar Takeovers: The annual overwhelming of not one, but TWO fine local establishments. For those arriving Thursday, we will drive to our favorite Italian-Mexican fusion joint, Zorbaz. On Friday, post-golf scramble, our pontoon fleet will storm the beaches of The Craft House. You do not want to miss either legendary occasion!
9-Hole golf scramble: organized by the elite, kinda-famous Cabin Party Golf Scramble Committee . Last year’s winners of the Hole Contests are encouraged to brag of their victories, as the official record is a bit fuzzy thanks to the wine competition! RSVP to Kim C in the “Cabin Party 2026” email thread or via text (651) 252-7756 if you want to play – all skill levels welcome and encouraged!
Wine competition: featuring parameters selected by current jacket holders, Bridget, Adrian, and Claire Torres. Bring your A-Game, an appetizer, and worst Hawaiian shirt! Contact our resident Hawaiian shirt extraordinaire, Tommy Gaffney, for personalized styling guidance and services.
Lake Activities: Pontooning, paddle boarding, kayaking, tubing, King of the Dock, swimming and other water activities (all kiddos must have life jackets, especially for when the pontoon reaches a thrilling top speed of 5 MPH).
Yard game Olympics: featuring corn hole, testicle toss, beersbee, Hammerschlagen. Bonus points if you introduce a new game this year (*cough *cough, we’re looking at you Brad Johnson).
Karen’s FLUSTERS , plus possibly “some” other food, although let’s be honest, Kahlbaughs are notoriously stingy and never bring much food or drink to social gatherings (LOL ☺)
Check out the food assignments to know what meal you are responsible for on which day.
Annual “State of the Family” Address to be delivered by hosts and anyone else interested in public speaking (aka Tom Kahlbaugh). Submit your family updates via text or email to Paul Correll.
